Water Quality

Water Quality

We need only to think of the community of Flint, MI to realize what heart-break and devastation a contaminated water supply would wreak upon ourselves and generations to come. Whether it’s due to aging supply/delivery infrastructure, manufacturing, or the result of farming/agricultural activity, for good water quality, we need to establish baselines and goals with clear metrics for their achievement. Support for the Natural Resources/Outdoor Resources Trust Fund is a vital component in the quest for Iowans to enjoy and use the water reserves with which we have been blessed. Even though Gov. Reynolds has signed recent legislation with these ends in mind, many see this as a beginning and not “the end” of the matter on our journey.
